The NEW OZAMIZ CITY AIRPORT
The last time i saw our airport was when i was still studying in ICC high school, where unfortunately the runway was not in good condition, no flight schedules.
I was very happy to see the new runway when i visited the airport this january 1, 2007 and talked personally to the manager Nap Bael about the improvement. he is very optimistic about it and said it will be operational soon.
Manila boys and ozamiznons in other parts of the country can now fly direct to their native land within the most convenient and faster turn around time. Im proud of our fellow ozamiznons who have visions to redevelop and restore the important facilities in ozamiz for trade and commerce to bloom and make the people in ozamiz proud and the economy prospers.
No doubt i will book in one of the early flights going to ozamiz direct from manila. the government officials however need to put some finishing touches on the main terminal, and perimeter fence and security as soon as possible so as not to delay what has been newly constructed.
Good luck and congrats. He're some pics.
